Koski signs with Southern Illinois Miners

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Former Saluki outfielder Kevin Koski signed with the Frontier League's Southern Illinois Miners today.
Koski, who hails from Schaumburg, Ill., hit .296 with 45 runs, nine doubles, a triple, 13 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 51 starts last season. He also fell one hit shy of tying the school's all-time career hits record.
Koski will be available for tonight's game against Slippery Rock. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m., CST, at Rent One Park in Marion.
