Men's Basketball single-game tickets on-sale this week

CARBONDALE, Ill. - If you're on the fence about purchasing Saluki men's basketball season tickets this season, the exclusive pre-sale of single-game tickets starts Tuesday. Only season-ticket holders and Saluki Athletic Scholarship Fund (SASF) members can participate in the pre-sale, which begins at 10 a.m. CT.
Season-ticket holders can purchase pre-sale tickets at the SIU Ticket Office, or call 877-SALUKIS for more information.
This season will be the last chance for Saluki fans to see the current SIU Arena before major renovations are completed for the 2010 season.
Both Big Dawg and upper bowl season tickets are still available for the 2009-10 season. The Big Dawg seats are priced at $160 and offer an extra two inches of seating. Regular bench seating in the upper bowl is $150 for the Salukis' 17 home games this season. No Saluki Athletic Scholarship Fund (SASF) donation is required to purchase seats in any of these sections. To order your season tickets, call the SIU Arena Ticket Office at (618) 453-2000 or 877-SALUKIS.
The exclusive pre-sale period ends Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. CT. Single-game tickets for the general public will be available beginning Thursday, Oct. 8 at 10 am.
For more information on Saluki Basketball ticket options, call 877-SALUKIS. The athletic department will continue to set aside single-game tickets for the student body for all home games, and pick-up dates will be announced in October.
