CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois softball program has announced its 2009 summer day camp dates, and is taking registration forms through the Division of Continuing Education.
The Hitting and Defense Camp for third through 12th graders will run Monday through Thursday, June 8-11, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day at Sports Blast behind University Mall. The camp includes instructional materials, and a t-shirt.
The Pitching camp for second through 12th graders will run Tuesday and Wednesday, July 14-15, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day at the SIUC Student Recreation Center. The camp also includes instructional materials, and a t-shirt.
Each camp, run by SIU's coaching staff and players, costs $80 or $150 for both.
