Women's Golf receives Wal Mart grant

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Wal Mart store in Carbondale has awarded the Saluki Women's Golf program with a grant check for $500, head coach Diane Daugherty announced today.
The store annually awards grants to area groups at the local level as part of its community outreach efforts.
Daugherty said her program has received grants from Wal Mart in the past.
"They have been very generous in their support of our women's golf program," she said. "The money they have provided for us gets put to good use to enhance the college experience of our team."
