Women's Golf preps for MAC Preview

CARBONDALE, Ill. - After a two week break, the SIU women's golf team is back in action Monday and Tuesday at the MAC Preview hosted by Western Michigan.
The two-day 36-hole tournament is held at the Hawthorne Golf & Country Club in Fishers, Ind. A shotgun start is set for 8:30 CT each day.
The field will consist of 14 teams including: Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Butler, Cleveland State, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Indiana State, IUPUI, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, and Western Michigan.
The Salukis are coming off their second straight tournament title at the SIUE Intercollegiate on Sept. 26-27 as they home took the top three individual finishes. Alisha Matthews took home medalist honors finishing one stroke in front of teammate Margaret Gilley while Cassie Rushing finished in a tie for third.
