Baseball to host 15th annual Fish Fry

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois baseball team is hosting its 15th annual Fish Fry and Memorabilia Auction, Friday, March 25 at the Carbondale Civic Center from 5-8 p.m.
Dinner includes all you can eat fish, potato salad, coleslaw, bread, soft drinks and homemade desserts. Tickets for the dinner are $7 for adults and $3 for kids and the memorabilia auction begins at 7 p.m.
Sponsors for the event are Country Financial, the SIU Credit Union and the Southern Illinois Orthopedic Center. All proceeds benefit Saluki Baseball.
Featured items available at the auction include autographed items from Alex Rodriguez, Kevin Garnett, Percy Harvin, Roger Clemens, Will Clark, Orlando Cepeda, Willie McCovey along with former SIU great Deji Karim.
Several sets of tickets for the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs will also be up for auction at the Fish Fry. For further information, please contact the Saluki Baseball office at 618-453-3794.
