Women's Golf MVC Championships play suspended until Saturday.

NORMAL, Ill. - Due to the inclement weather surrounding the Weibring Golf Club Friday, play at the MVC Championships has been suspended until Saturday morning.

No rounds were able to be played Friday and Saturday will act as the first and second rounds of competition, consisting of 36 holes. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

At the conclusion of the two rounds, the individual and team champions will be named.

The Salukis were picked to finish fifth in the pre-championship poll.
