CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois' baseball game against Illinois State is currently in a delay due to lightening.
It is scheduled to resume at 5:40 p.m.
SIU currently leads the Redbirds 3-0 with one out in the bottom of the sixth.
Saluki pitcher Cody Forsythe has given up just three hits and has three strikeouts with no walks.
Jordan Sivertsen hit his ninth home run of the season in the second, a solo shot to left-center. SIU added on two runs in the fifth off a RBI double from Dustin Huff and a sacrifice fly from Jake Welch.
