Women's Golf heads to SIUE Intercollegiate

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois women's golf team will compete in the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Intercollegiate this Monday and Tuesday in Edwardsville, Ill.
Coming off a win at last week's Cardinal Classic, the Salukis will be one of 10 teams participating in the tournament.
Opponents include SIUE, Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood University-Belleville, Missouri Baptist, Northern Illinois, Evansville, Nebraska-Omaha, and South Dakota.
The Salukis won their first non-home tournament since 2007 last week as Margaret Gilley took top honors with her first career medalist finish including a career low round of 70 in the final round.
The 36-hole tournament will be held at the Sunset Hills Country Club in Edwardsville, a par 72 course.
