MyCole Pruitt selected third-team All-American

PHILADELPHIA - SIU tight end MyCole Pruitt has been named to The Sports Network All-America Third Team, The Sports Network announced Monday.
Pruitt led all tight ends in the Missouri Valley Football Conference with 49 receptions for 577 yards and four touchdowns. Among tight ends, he ranked fourth in the nation in receiving yards and sixth in the nation with 4.5 receptions per game. In two seasons with the Salukis, the sophomore already has the second most career receptions by an SIU tight end with 92.
This is yet another honor for Pruitt, who was also a first-team All-Conference selection this season.
