Softball announces promotional dates for home games

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois softball team has announced its game day promotions for the 2012 season.
All promotions are subject to change and additional promotions will be added at a later date. All ticket prices are pre-purchase only and not available on game days. For more information or to book your group, please contact the Abby O' Donnell in Saluki Marketing at 453-1803 or abbyo@siu.edu.
Sunday March 4 - Coach B Classic
Kids Run the Bases
- All children through 8th grade will run the bases after the game
Saturday March 24 vs. Creighton
Women Intersport Network Day
- All members receive $2 admission
Camper Reunion
- All participants from the SIU summer camps are invited back and will receive free admission and a post-game autograph session.
Sunday March 25 vs. Creighton
Scout Day
- Scouts & Leaders receive $5 admission
- Scouts will receive a giveaway prize and troops will each get an in-game PA recognition
- Family & Friends of Scouts receive $2 admission
Kids Run the Bases
- All children through 8th grade will run the bases after the game
Saturday, March 31 vs. Illinois State
Alumni Weekend
- All Saluki Softball alumni will receive free admission
Sunday, April 1 vs. Illinois State
Alumni Weekend
- All Saluki Softball alumni will receive free admission
Kids Run the Bases

Saturday April 7 vs. Indiana State
Strike Out Cancer
Tuesday April 10 vs. UT-Martin
Faith Day
- All faith groups/congregations will receive $2 admission
Wednesday, April 25 vs. SEMO
Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day
- All SIU Faculty and Staff will receive $2 with valid SIU ID
Saturday April 28 vs. Northern Iowa
Senior Day
Brown Dawg's Birthday & Junior Saluki Day
- Each child will get a Saluki Paw Print tattoo and sticker
- Saluki Bounce House will be open for children to play in
- Autograph session with SIU Softball team and Brown Dawg
