Baseball alumni to host second Saluki Golf Scramble

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Saluki baseball alumni will be hosting an alumni golf scramble in conjunction with the alumni’s return to SIU for the second year in a row. This year’s outing is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 21 at Hickory Ridge Golf Course in Carbondale.
The cost of the event is $80 per player and includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, lunch, prizes and a good time with friends and teammates. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Saluki baseball program.
The SIU baseball team will be home for a three-game series against Creighton the weekend of the event. The first pitch of the series is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday, April 20.
