Registration now available for Saluki Baseball Camp

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Registration is now available for the Southern Illinois University baseball program's 2012 Saluki Baseball Camp. The camp is open to all baseball players between the ages of seven and 13 and will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. from Monday, June 11 through Thursday, June 14 at Abe Martin Field on the SIU campus.
Campers will learn hitting, bunting, base running, defense and pitching along with specific position work and supervised game activity. The Saluki Baseball Camp staff includes SIU Head Coach Ken Henderson and assistant coaches P.J. Finigan and Ryan Strain. In addition the staff will also include Saluki baseball players, high school and college coaches.
Registratation before May 25 is $175 for an individual and $155 per person for teams of six or more. A deposit of $50 is required for early registration. The cost to register after May 25 is $185 for an individual and $165 per person for teams of six or more.
In addition to instruction, participants will receive a camp T-shirt and baseball cap along with lunch each day of the camp.
