Men's Basketball cancels summer camp

Southern Illinois University men's basketball head coach Barry Hinson said he has cancelled the 2012 Saluki Boys Basketball Camp that was scheduled to take place June 25-28.

"Due to the transition to a new coaching staff, we had a late start in organizing the camp," Hinson explained. Anyone who has already paid the registration fee will receive a refund.

He said the men's basketball program will have three camps next summer -- a team camp, an individual skills camp and a college-prep camp. Hinson also said the staff is considering an afternoon holiday clinic for later this year.
