CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Saluki Basketball Fan Fest, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 24, is a perfect event for the entire family and gives Saluki fans the opportunity to visit SIU Arena, walk on the court and interact with this year's men's basketballl team.
Fan Fest begins at 6:30 p.m. and is free for all fans. The concession stands will be open for light refreshments.
Saluki players, coaches, cheerleaders, shakers and mascots will be on-hand greeting fans for a host of activities for the whole family. Here are some highlights of the event:
• Coach Hinson will speak and introduce the team
• Skills showcase with ball handling, shooting and dunking
• All players will be available to sign autographs
• Free schedule posters and cards
• Saluki Team Store on site with all the latest Saluki gear
• Saluki Shakers, cheerleaders and mascots Grey Dawg and Brown Dawg on-hand
• Saluki basketball players interacting with kids and fans alike on the court
• Dress Like a Saluki photo opportunities
• Saluki Basketball Tag Day - Fans have the opportunity to purchase 2013-14 season tickets
