Kentucky cancels Wednesday's game with Salukis

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.--Due to the expectation of winter weather in the Lexington area over the next two days, the University of Kentucky softball team has canceled its game against Southern Illinois on Wednesday.

The Salukis were slated for one game with the Wildcats at the UK Softball Complex.

Southern Illinois will play a doubleheader this afternoon at Austin Peay State University with the first game getting underway at 12 p.m. CT.

SIU returns to Carbondale for a five game home stand including opening Missouri Valley Conference play hosting Drake, March 16-1, at Charlotte West Stadium. Saint Louis University will also travel to SIU for a doubleheader on Wednesday, March 20.
