Salukis finish in 12th place at Diane Thomason Invitational

IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Saluki women's golf team finished 12th in a field of 13 teams at the Diane Thomason Invitational hosted by the University of Iowa at Finkbine Golf Course.
SIU shot rounds of 337, 324 and 324 to finish at 985. The Salukis improved their team score by 13 strokes after the first round, but finished the final two rounds with identical scores of 324.
Sophomore Brooke Cusumano shot the lowest for the Salukis, hitting 240 (81-79-80) to tie for 32nd place. Freshman Alice Ho finished second for the Salukis with a 249 (88-81-80) to tie for 55th.
SIU will continue its fall season next week at the Red Wolves Classic in Jonesboro, Ark.
