Salukis to involve local communities in (618) Salukis Program

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Local communities can attend a selected SIU football game for just $6.18 as part of the (618) Salukis promotion. Through the community involvement initiative, residents of Carbondale, Murphysboro, Harrisburg, Marion, Carterville, DuQuoin, Anna, Jonesboro and Herrin will all have the opportunity to attend a Saluki football game for an $11 discount. In addition, high school students from those towns with a student ID will receive free admission to the selected game.
Tickets must be purchased in advance of the game with a proof of residence at the SIU Ticket Office or at designated locations in each community. Businesses that purchase more than 25 tickets will receive a special recognition during the game, and all fans who purchase tickets through the promotion will be entered into contests to win prizes. Each town will be recognized at their respective home game for their support of Saluki football. High school students in each town will receive free admission to their designated game.
