CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois softball team's game against UT Martin was canceled due to rain and lightning in the area on Tuesday. The teams were in the bottom of the first inning when a lightning strike forced the teams to cancel. SIU will host Evansville on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Charlotte West Stadium.
