Top 10 moments of '15: Seniors are League Leaders

Two Saluki seniors saved their best for last. Kalyn Harker led the Missouri Valley Conference in batting average in league play, and Katie Bertelsen led the league in conference wins with 13.

Bertelsen became the sixth Saluki pitcher to lead the league in conference wins and first since Danielle Glosson set an MVC record with 16 in 2010. Bertelsen recorded 13 of the team's 15 wins in conference play and 17 of the team's 21 wins overall. Bertelsen ended her Saluki career in the top 10 in program history in career wins, innings pitched, appearances, saves and complete games.
Harker became the third SIU player to lead the conference in batting average and first since Hall-of-Famer Lauren Haas in 2008. Harker hit .466 in league play, 34 points better than anyone else in the conference. She earned All-MVC and Academic All-America honors after the season.
