Southern's DeAnna Price ready for IAAF Championships

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois senior DeAnna Price is set to represent the United States once again, as she competes at the 15th IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) World Championships in Beijing, China.
Qualification in the hammer throw competition will begin on Aug. 26, with the finalists set for an Aug. 27 showdown.
The Moscow Mills, Mo. native is coming off of an incredible 2014-15 season which saw her crowned as the 2015 NCAA Outdoor hammer throw champion. Price earned her spot at the IAAF Championships after a runner-up finish at the USATF Outdoor Championships back in June.
