SIU Baseball to hold walk-on tryouts Sept. 9

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University baseball team will hold an organizational meeting on Wednesday, September 2, for students that are interested in open tryouts for walk-on positions for the 2016 season. The meeting will be held at Itchy Jones Stadium at 5 p.m.
The tryouts will be held on Wednesday, September 9, at Itchy Jones Stadium. Those that are interested will need to attend the meeting. Any questions regarding physicals and other requirements will be covered during the informational meeting.
