SIU Baseball sets date for prospect camp

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University baseball program will host the Saluki Baseball Prospect Camp on Sunday, October 4 at Itchy Jones Stadium on the SIU campus. The camp is open to all baseball players who are looking to play college baseball and scheduled to graduate from high school in 2016, 2017 or 2018.
Check-in will begin at 8 a.m., and the camp is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Players will receive instruction and be evaluated by the SIU baseball coaching staff. The afternoon will feature scrimmages. The camp is scheduled to conclude at 4:30 p.m.
The cost to register is $100 per player. The camp will be limited to the first 80 registrants. For more information, contact Coach Ken Henderson at (618) 453-2802.
