SIU Track and Field to host Alumni Tailgate on Oct. 22

SIU Homecoming is set for Oct. 16-22.

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Southern Illinois track and field team is set to host an Alumni Tailgate on Saturday, Oct. 22 in conjunction with the SIU-Indiana State homecoming football game.

The tailgate begins at 12 p.m. on Saluki Row, just northwest of Saluki Stadium. Alumni will have a chance to meet the 2016 Saluki track and field team, and a barbecue lunch will be provided. Attendees are asked to please bring their own beverage(s) of choice.

The event is free for all SIU track and field alumni, with special $10 tickets to the 2 p.m. homecoming football game also being made available. Alumni interested in purchasing tickets should contact Director of Special Events Bryce Williams at willi21@siu.edu or by giving him a call at 618-453-1803.
