Winter Hitting League registration open now

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Registration is now open for Saluki Baseball's Winter Hitting League. Participants will receive four one-hour sessions with SIU hitting coaches Ryan Strain and Seth LaRue.

By registering, kids ages 7-18 will be taught the importance of proper swing path, mechanics, situational hitting, two-strike approach and bunting. Instruction will take place at Garden Grove Event Center on Nov. 29, Dec. 1, Dec. 6 and Dec. 8 with sessions at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Participation is limited to the first 16 people to register.
