Men's Basketball travels to UNLV

Southern Illinois (6-5) plays at UNLV (6-5) in a Missouri Valley-Mountain West Conference Challenge game on Monday night at 9 p.m. CT.

The Salukis are 1-3 all-time versus UNLV with all four games played in Las Vegas. The most recent meeting was on Nov. 21, 2009 in which the Runnin' Rebels rallied from a 12-point deficit to win, 78-69. They shot 77 percent from the field in the second half. Tony Freeman had 14, and Nick Evans added 12 points for SIU.

Thik Bol 47th in the nation in blocked shots
   F Thik Bol (6-8, 205, Jr.) ranks second in the MVC and 47th in the nation in blocked shots per game (2.00). He had a career-high six blocks versus Mount St. Mary's. He is also second on the team in rebounding (6.4).
