Cusumano named Golfer of the Week for second-straight time

For the second-straight week, Saluki senior Brooke Cusumano is the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week. Cusumano earned the award thanks to her medalist performance on Monday and Tuesday at the Loyola Fall Invitational and her runner up finish at the UIC Fall Invitational on Saturday.
This is the fourth time that Cusumano has won the award and the first time in Saluki history that a player won back-to-back Golfer of the Week awards. She helped the Salukis to their first win of the season on Saturday at the UIC Fall Invitational with her second place finish. At the Loyola Fall Invite, she was the only player in the field that was able to shoot in the 70's all-three rounds. Her win at the Loyola Fall Invite was the second of her career.
Cusumano and the Salukis will be back in action on October 3 and 4 at the Missouri Valley Conference Preview at Dalhouse Golf Club in Cape Gurardeau, Missouri
