CARBONDALE, Ill. — Saluki Athletics has completed its administrative review concerning the eligibility of guards Leo Vincent and Sean Lloyd, Director of Athletics Tommy Bell announced today. The issues that prevented the players from competing on Tuesday night at Wichita State have been resolved to the satisfaction of SIU's athletic compliance office and the NCAA. Both players are immediately reinstated to practice and play.
"Together we accept responsibility for the administrative breakdown that occurred that affected these student-athletes, and the issue has been identified and appropriate action taken," Bell said. "We take compliance and eligibility issues very seriously, and we are all accountable."
Specific details related to student-athlete eligibility are protected by privacy laws, he said.
