MVC Men's Tennis Scholar-Athlete team announced

The Missouri Valley Conference announced the 2017 Men's Tennis MVC Scholar Athlete Team on Tuesday, and four Salukis made the cut. Piotr Baranski and Daniel Martinez were named to the first team, while Michal Kianicka and Peter Molloy were named honorable mention.
This is the first time both Baranski and Martinez have made the scholar-athlete first-team. Baranski, a senior, is studying pre-medicine and has a 3.22 GPA. Martinez, a junior, is studying Psychology and has a 3.52 GPA. Kianicka has a 3.40 GPA in Economics, Molloy has a 3.40 GPA in Business Marketing.
To qualify for scholar-athlete, the athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA, have reached sophomore status in both athletics and academics and have played in at least 75% of the teams matches.
