WGCA ALL-American Scholar Team
Four Salukis were named to the Women's College Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar team today. To make the team, golfers must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA; some of the most stringent criteria in collegiate athletics. Seniors Brooke Cusumano, and Kristie Yang and Juniors Alice Ho and Hanna Netisingha were the four Salukis to earn the honor.
Â
All four honorees are repeat winners of the award, and Cusumano made the team all four years of her collegiate career. Cusumano also won the Missouri Valley Conference's Elite 18 Award this year for her accomplishments on the golf course and in the classroom. This is the sixth consecutive season that the women's golf team has had at least three golfers named to the team.
