Softball announces dates for Winter Pitching Academy

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Southern Illinois University softball program has set dates for its 2019 Winter Pitching Academy.
The pitching academy is open to seventh through 12th graders and will consist of four weekly sessions to run throughout the month of December. Just one session, from 7-8:15 p.m., will be offered.Â
There is a limit of five participants, so it is imperative that interested attendees act quickly to ensure a spot. Assistant coach Kenzi Tate will lead each session and questions are to be directed to her by email at kenzi.tate@siu.edu.
Prospective attendees may email Coach Tate to reserve a spot, but payment must be made immediately to keep that spot or it will be released to the next name on the list.

Who: Girls, grades 7-12 (five campers will be accepted)
Dates: Wednesday, Dec. 11, Wednesday, Dec. 18, Monday, Dec. 23, Monday, Dec. 30.
Time: 7-8:15 p.m.
Location: Garden Grove Event Center (indoor workout facility)
