SIU visits Evansville for final regular season road test

The Southern Illinois men's basketball program travels to Evansville for a 6 p.m. game on Wednesday night at Ford Center. The Salukis are playing their final road game of the regular season before hosting Illinois State for Senior Day on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Southern Illinois visits Evansville for the final regular season road game of the year. SIU is looking for a season sweep of the Aces.
The first game -- SIU's five starters all scored in double-figures and combined for 72 of the team's 78 points in a 78-73 win. Aaron Cook had 15 points and 7 assists.
SIU leads the all-time series 69-57. The teams have split each of the last two seasons.
Evansville is led by KJ Riley, who averages 13.4 points per game. Riley ranks 9th nationally in free throw attempts and 13th in made free throws.

SIU senior guard/forward Armon Fletcher has scored 1,254 points, which ranks No. 23 all-time at SIU.
Fletcher has scored 658 career points at SIU Arena, which is #13 all-time.
He can pass Jermaine Dearman (1999-03) on SIU's all-time scoring list with six points on Senior Day (March 2 vs. Illinois State at 1 p.m.).
He needs 61 points to pass Randal Falker (2005-08) for 22nd all-time in career points.
Fletcher has passed several SIU greats on the school's all-time scoring list this year, including Tony Young, Troy Hudson, Stetson Hairston, Chris Lowery, Sean O'Brien, and Chris Carr.
