Saluki Softball to host Summer Pitching Academy

CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Southern Illinois University softball program has announced dates for its 2019 Summer Pitching Academy.
The pitching academy is open to seventh through 12th graders and will consist of eight, once-a-week sessions to run from June 11th through August 13th. Two sessions will be offered, with the first running from 5-6 p.m. followed by a second session from 6-7 p.m.
There is a limit of 4-6 participants per session, so it is imperative that interested attendees act quickly to ensure a spot. Assistant coach Kenzi Tate will lead each session and questions are to be directed to her by email at kenzi.tate@siu.edu.
Prospective attendees may email Coach Tate to reserve a spot, but payment must be made immediately to keep that spot or it will be released to the next name on the list.

Who: Girls, grades 7-12 (4-6 campers per session accepted)
Dates: June 11th, June 18th, June 25th, July 1st, July 9th, July 16th, August 6th, August 13th
Time: Session 1: 5-6 p.m
Session 2: 6-7 p.m.
Location: Garden Grove Event Center (indoor workout facility)
