EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The SIU baseball team (31-12) travels to Evansville (21-21) for a non-conference series between the schools at Evansville's new park, German American Bank Field. Note: the schedule for the weekend series has changed due to forecasted weather. All four games will be broadcast nationally on ESPN3.

AROUND THE HORN

SIU starts a nine-game road swing with a four-game series at Evansville. The series is a non-conference series and will not be reflected in the conference standings. (SIU's series against Evansville in Carbondale March 12-14 was the official MVC series.)
The series schedule has been adjusted due to anticipated weather. The teams will now play a 2 p.m. doubleheader on Friday, followed by 1 p.m. games on Saturday and Sunday.
SIU comes into the game on a five-game winning streak, including a four-game sweep of Missouri State last weekend. This is SIU's fourth winning streak of five or more games this season.
NCAA.com named SIU one of the nation's seven most powerful offenses earlier this week.
