
Salukis Look for Season Sweep of Evansville Tuesday Night at Banterra Center

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Winners of two-straight games, the Southern Illinois men's basketball program will welcome Evansville to Banterra Center Tuesday night with a 7 p.m. CT tipoff. The Salukis will look for the season sweep of the Aces after downing UE on the road to open MVC play back in November. To purchase your tickets for the game, click HERE.

• Marcus Domask (18th-1,379) and Lance Jones (23rd-1,332) each rank in the top-25 in program history in points scored. The duo also ranks in the top 20 in career assists.
• Marcus Domask has scored in double-digits in 17 of 19 games this season to lead SIU. He has scored 20 or more in five games and his 16.5 points per game rank seventh in the MVC.
• Marcus Domask and Lance Jones combined to score the final 20 points in a win on the road against Murray State. Against Drake, Domask scored the final 15 points of the game to defeat DU.
• Lance Jones leads the Salukis with 41 3-pointers this season. The senior has made 176 threes over his career to rank seventh in program history.
IT STARTS ON DEFENSE
• SIU's 60.2 points allowed per game leads the MVC and ranks 15th nationally.
• Southern Illinois has held conference opponents to just 58.1 points per game and five of its eight Valley foes to 57 points or fewer. The Salukis held Belmont to 45 points and preseason favorite Drake to 49 points.
• Southern put the clamps on Drake's Tucker DeVries and Roman Penn. The Salukis gave up just 11 points to DeVries on 4-for-13 shooting while holding Penn to 1-for-15 from the floor and two points.
