Track & Field Set to Compete at Notre Dame Invitational

CARBONDALE, Ill. -Â The Southern Illinois Track and Field programs will travel to South Bend, Indiana this weekend to compete at the Notre Dame Invitational.Â
"We are excited to get back on the road to compete at an iconic school and strong Midwest competition," Director of Track & Field and Cross Country, Richard Jones, said. "We hope to carry the momentum from our last meet into this one and record solid conference marks."Â
The meet will be hosted by Notre Dame on Meyo Field inside the newly updated Loftus Sports Center. Along with Notre Dame and Southern Illinois, Eastern Michigan and Lewis will be competing.Â
The events start at 12:00 p.m. CT with the Men's Long Jump and Women's Weight Throw. Running events will begin at 1:30 p.m. CT with the Women's 60 M Hurdle prelims. The final event of the meet, the Men's 4X400 M Relay will be at 4:25 p.m. CT. Follow along with live results.Â
