Swimming & Diving To Close Out Regular Season With Meets at Eastern Illinois and Missouri

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Saluki Swimming & Diving programs close out the regular season this week with meets at Eastern Illinois and Missouri.Â
"This opportunity to compete back-to-back days, Thursday and Friday, on the road will be an excellent indicator of where we are as a team heading into the final few weeks leading up to the conference championships," said Head Coach Geoff Hanson. "We've had these meets circled on the calendar for quite some time."
The Salukis look to continue to build on the momentum they have built over the course of the season. This will be the final two opportunities to compete before the conference championship meets.
"Thursday will be a good test at Eastern Illinois, an in-state rival, in a shorter meet format. Followed by the challenge of competing at Mizzou, a top-25 team," Hanson said. "We're going to see our swimmers in a variety of events. With these being the last couple of meets before we select our conference scoring rosters, we're really looking forward to the next couple of days."
