CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois Women's Volleyball was swept by Northern Iowa on Senior Night Saturday in Carbondale. The Salukis honored Brinley Burdette, Anna Jaworski and Maggie Wallenberger, who will all be graduating from the program following the conclusion of the 2024 season.
UNI (22-7, 17-0 MVC) dominated the match and kept its undefeated MVC record alive.
Kelly Franklin led the Salukis (10-18, 3-14 MVC) with five kills, Avery Parris blocked three attacks, and Ema Stermenska had eight assists and two aces.
Sets one and two featured a mere two lead changes, as the Panthers stretched the deficit to insurmountable lengths early in each set.
The Salukis held strong for most of set three, but UNI scored eight of the last 10 points and quickly shut the door on any SIU comeback effort. The Panthers won each set by scores of 25-10, 25-13 and 25-16.

Southern Illinois will wrap up the regular season when it travels to Missouri State for a midweek match on Wednesday, November 20.
