News | Eleven Salukis Named to MVC Scholar-Athlete Team

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference announced the 2024 Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete Team which included eleven Salukis, one with a 4.0 grade-point average.
Southern Illinois Scholar-Athletes:
Audrey Leno - 4
Melanie Scheiblein - 3.99
Hadley Wyatt - 3.92
Hannah Connolly - 3.91
Brooklyn Anderson - 3.91
Ella Kerr - 3.91
Bea Padron - 3.87
Olivia Herron - 3.83
Jasmine Rau - 3.83
Ali Robertson - 3.77
Farida Moussa - 3.73
To receive Scholar-Athlete honors an athlete has to have competed in the Swimming and Diving Championship and maintain a 3.5 GPA and receive all-conference honors, maintain a 3.7 GPA and receive All-Conference Honorable Mention, or have a 3.9 GPA and participate in the MVC Championship.
Overall the MVC had 67 athletes on the swimming and diving scholar-athlete team. The full list and release can be read here.
