CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Southern Illinois Men's golf team heads to the Hoosier Collegiate Saturday at the Pfau Golf Course in Bloomington, Ind.
The weekend tournament will see the Salukis compete against 15 teams, with each playing 36 holes Saturday, and 18 Sunday. The teams in the tournament are Butler, DePaul, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville, High Point, Indiana, IUPUI, Michigan, Michigan State, Murray State, Notre Dame, Purdue Fort Wayne, Rice, and Valparaiso. Northwestern will send individual golfers only.
The Salukis lineup for the Hoosier Collegiate is Dain Richie, Andrew Thornton, Leon Heitz, Edouard Cereto, and Hugo Archer.
The Pfau Golf course is a par-71 that spans 7,355 yards.
The Salukis are quickly back in action after tying for ninth at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate Tuesday. The tournament was cut short after round three was canceled due to weather.
Dain Richie continues his strong season with a top-five finish at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate with a score of 139 (-5).
