HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Southern Illinois Women's Volleyball swept Idaho in three sets Saturday in Huntsville, Ala., at the Betty Howard Invitational hosted by Alabama A&M.
The Salukis fell behind early in set number one, but after taking a 17-16 lead later in the set, they never trailed the rest of the match.
Kelly Franklin tallied a team-high 10 kills to go along with six digs. Anna Jaworski and Annabelle Sulish came up big from the service line, collecting five and four aces, respectively. Jaworski's five tied a career-high. Sulish put together another solid all-around game, adding seven kills and six digs to her ledger.
Vienna Elliott put down six kills in two sets, including the final point of the game to complete the sweep.
UP NEXT
Southern Illinois will wrap up the Betty Austin Invitational with a matchup against Oral Roberts Sunday. The first serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. CT.
