PARIS, France - Three-time Olympian Saluki DeAnna Price took eleventh in the women's hammer throw competition Tuesday at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Price fouled on her first attempt, and threw 70.18 meters on attempt two. Her longest throw of 71.00 meters (232'11") on attempt three was 1.98 meters short of the qualifying mark to attempt three more throws.
Team USA teammate Annette Echikunwoke led the event with a throw of 75.48 on her third attempt, but Canadian Camryn Rogers won gold after throwing 76.97 on her fifth attempt.
The 31-year-old wraps another unbelievable run where she not only qualified for the Games but made the Olympic finals for the third time in her storied career.
