Recap | Saluki Volleyball completes second reverse sweep in thriller at UT Martin

MARTIN, Tenn. - Southern Illinois Women's Volleyball defeated UT Martin after coming back down two sets to zero Tuesday in Martin, Tenn. The Salukis have come back down 2-0 twice this season, the first coming against Oral Roberts on September 1.
Eva Krakowski put together the best match of her freshman campaign, putting down 17 kills and eight blocks. Annabelle Sulish (10 kills, 15 digs)Â and Anna Jaworski (28 assists, 17 digs) each tallied double-doubles.
Sets one and two were dominated by UT Martin (2-5), with the Salukis (5-2) not grabbing a lead past the seventh point.
Southern staved off two short runs by the Skyhawks and survived past the third set with a narrow 25-23 victory.
UT Martin had the match in hand after getting to a 24-19 lead in set four, but the Salukis scored seven straight points to win the set behind a pair of kills from Annabelle Sulish and Ella Swansiger and clutch serving from true freshman Kaelin Pribyl, who saw her first collegiate action on Tuesday.
Larissa Seger's 11th kill capped off the comeback for SIU, who never trailed during the fifth set.
The win marks the ninth in a row over UT Martin.

The Salukis will travel to the Lindenwood Invitational Friday, September 13, in St. Charles, Mo.
