CARBONDALE, Ill. – A week after their season-opening win, Southern Illinois women's soccer (1-0-0, 0-0-0) is set for game two when they host SEMO (0-2-0, 0-0-0) Thursday night at 6 p.m.

Soccer opened their season last Thursday with a 4-0 win over Eastern Illinois. Goals came courtesy of Dory Latenser, Sophia Schlicklin, Aylie Haycock, and Olivia Anderson. Meanwhile, Reagan Miller stood tall in net, making one save in point-blank range to secure a shutout in her Saluki debut. The Salukis dominated Eastern Illinois in several key stats as well, including shots (10-5), shots-on-goal (6-1), and corner kicks (7-1).

On Tuesday, Miller was honored by the Missouri Valley Conference for her one-save shutout, being named the MVC Goalkeeper of the Week.
