CARBONDALE, Ill. — Southern Illinois University Women's Volleyball has added transfer Carlota Mora, a 5-foot-10 outside hitter from Madrid, Spain, to its roster for the upcoming season.
Mora attended Isaac Albéniz High School and joins the Salukis after competing at Ranger College. In 2025, she played in 27 matches and 94 sets, recording 206 kills, 152 digs, 633 total attacks, and 22 service aces.
During the 2024 season with the Rangers, Mora totaled 171 kills, 21 service aces, 168 digs, and 41 total blocks while appearing in 29 matches and 84 sets.
Head coach Brittany Harry says Mora will provide valuable depth to the roster.
"We are thrilled to welcome Carlota Mora to the Saluki family," Harry said. "Bringing her experience from Ranger College and her international background from Madrid, Spain, Carlota will add a dynamic layer of skill and maturity to our roster. We are excited to add depth to both outside hitter positions, and we look forward to watching her compete for playing time right away."
