Gosse named MVC's Player of the Week

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Following SIU's 5-0 win over Western Illinois on Sunday, midfielder Brooke Goose was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week.
The sophomore scored two goals in Sunday's contest as part of SIU's school-record five goals on the day. She currently leads the Salukis with four points on the season.
The St. Augustine, Fla., native was named to the MVC's All-Freshman team in 2025 and will look to continue her hot start when the team travels to Auburn on Thursday night.
