Swing, Sip & Celebrate: Join Women's Golf During Unique Clinic, Social

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Southern Illinois University Women's Golf will welcome supporters, friends, and newcomers to the game for Swing with the Salukis, a special evening dedicated to celebrating and supporting Saluki Women's Golf on Friday, Sept. 25, at Apple Creek Golf Club in Makanda.
Designed exclusively for women ages 21 and older, the event offers a welcoming environment for participants of all experience levels, from those picking up a golf club for the first time to seasoned golfers looking to sharpen their skills. REGISTER HERE.
The evening will feature hands-on instruction from SIU Women's Golf Head Coach Samantha Sambursky and LPGA professional Danielle Kaufman-Wagner, providing participants the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game and improve their swings in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere.
Following the clinic, participants will enjoy a wine and appetizer reception, creating opportunities to connect with fellow supporters, coaches, and student-athletes while learning more about the impact and future of the Saluki Women's Golf program.
Whether attending to improve golf skills, try the game for the first time, or simply enjoy an evening out with friends, participants will experience a memorable event centered on friendship, mentorship, and Saluki pride.
This special event is presented by Diane Daugherty, retired SIU Women's Golf coach and longtime advocate for the program.

Clinic and Reception: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Cost: $100 per person
Eligibility: Participants must be at least 21 years of age
