Auffenburg Chrysler of Herrin is Newest Addition to Saluki Wheel Club

Auffenburg Chrysler of Herrin has become the newest member of the Saluki Wheel Club, the Southern Illinois University athletic department announced Thursday.
The Saluki Wheel Club is an organization of automobile dealers who provide the use of vehicles to athletic department coaches and administrators.
Auffenburg Chrysler of Herrin is one of eight dealerships in the Auffenburg Automotive Group owned by Chris Auffenburg. This is the second Auffenburg dealership to be involved in the Saluki Wheel Club.
The general manager of Auffenburg of Herrin is John Wasson. The store is located at 1821 S. Park Ave. in Herrin.
The Saluki Wheel Club now consists of 14 dealerships in the southern Illinois region. The others are: Ike Auto Park, Carbondale; Jim Hayes Inc.; Auffenberg of Carbondale; Vogler Motor Co., Carbondale; Saturn of Carbondale; Weeks Chevrolet/Pontiac, West Frankfort; Weeks Chrysler/Chevrolet, Benton; Ron Ward Chevrolet/Oldsmobile, Herrin; Marion Toyota/Mitsubishi, Marion; Cars Inc, Carbondale; Foley Switzer Motors, Marion, Ward Chrysler Center of Du Quoin and Heartland Ford-Mercury of Du Quoin.
