Rebecca Kimball is in her fifth year at Southern Illinois University. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Maine in Health/Fitness through the Department of Sports Medicine. While pursuing her Master's at Springfield in Applied Exercise Science with a concentration in strength and conditioning in 2005, she served as a graduate assistant and completed internships with Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning, University of Maryland and University of Connecticut.
Her primary teams include women's basketball, volleyball, and softball as well as assisting with other Olympic sports and is the coordinator of the strength internship program.
She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is also a Certified Level I coach from United States Weightlifting (USAW). She has also earned her certification through the National Association of Speed and Explosion (NASE) and serves as the state of Illinois director for NASE certification.
She has received her massage therapy certification through John A. Logan College.
"Becky takes so much pride in training our players to reach their full potiential," Saluki head volleyball coach Brenda Winkeler said of her strength coach. "I know she will always have then in great physical shape each season."
