Lauren Dieleman enters her first year as part of the Saluki staff, serving as the athletic training graduate assistant for Saluki Volleyball.
Dieleman comes to SIU after graduating from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo., with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. While at Culver-Stockton, Dieleman worked as an athletic trainer for various teams, including women's volleyball, soccer and basketball, men's volleyball and basketball, and football. Outside of collegiate athletics, she collaborated with certified athletic trainers and physical therapists for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries in clinical and high school settings.
Dieleman is currently working toward a master's degree in kinesiology at SIU.
